PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A Washington County man who drove through numerous red lights before firing multiple rounds at people and cars while high on methamphetamine last year was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Friday.
Travis Lee Blumhagen pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree attempted murder with a firearm, second-degree assault, and three counts of first-degree criminal mischief with a firearm, as well as driving under the influence of intoxicants.
The charges result from when Blumhagen drove into oncoming traffic and ran multiple red lights across areas of Tigard and Sherwood, Ore. on July 6, 2025.

Shortly after officials received these initial reports, Blumhagen drove his truck into a security gate and entered a self-storage facility in Sherwood. Officials say he then went on a “shooting spree,” firing his gun at three bystanders and multiple cars.
