PORTLAND, Ore (KOIN) – Clackamas fire crews said they faced strong winds while battling a house fire in Southeast Portland Friday Morning.
According to the Clackamas Fire District, the fire was reported just before 5 a.m. near the 6700 block of SE Hazel St. Fire officials said that when crews arrived, heavy fire was showing from the house.

Officials said that strong winds contributed to the fire conditions. Fire crews also faced a downed power line in the front yard. Officials said a cluttered yard posed challenges for firefighters.
