PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – It’s been more than a year since Cornell Wesley came to Portland from Birmingham, Alabama, to become Prosper Portland’s executive director.
Prosper Portland, formerly the Portland Development Commission, is the city’s economic and urban development agency. It has a $200 million budget and more than 90 employees.
A new report says Downtown Portland foot traffic is continuing to climb, with this past summer recording the highest numbers since the pandemic. But the report says not everything happening downtown is on the upswing.
