Late on a sunny Thursday afternoon in late July, Brooklyn neighbors flocked to Brooklyn Park for the annual “Best of Brooklyn BBQ” – a community fair created by the Greater Brooklyn Business Association – which again turned Brooklyn Park two blocks south of Powell on S.E. Milwaukie Avenue, into a lively outdoor gathering.
The celebration included food, music, and a chance for residents to meet the people behind local businesses and neighborhood organizations.
