PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities say human trafficking victims related to a criminal investigation in California may be in the Portland area.
The Portland Police Bureau said the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office of California is seeking information about additional victims in Portland as part of a years-long human trafficking investigation.
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Raymond Jamar Brooks, of Antioch, California oversaw a multi-state human trafficking operation. He is being held at the Martinez Detention Facility on $1 million bail and facing multiple human trafficking-related charges.
