Elephants Delicatessen will return to Northwest Portland in early 2027, several months after a fire severely damaged its longtime location on Northwest 22nd Avenue.
The Portland institution also announced Wednesday, Oct. 7, that The Ground, a Willamette Valley hospitality and regenerative farming company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Elephants from shareholder Henry Hillman.
