Experts warn reports of ‘sadistic online exploitation’ are on the rise

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Oregon-based nonprofit is alerting the local community after noticing a recent rise in online exploitation.

Over the last few years, the Safety Compass has noted a significant increase in reports of online exploitation and child sex trafficking to its tip line, the organization announced Tuesday.
