Portland commissioner claims ‘domestic terrorism’ in homeless shelter arson

PORTLAND, Ore. ( PORTLAND TRIBUNE ) — City Commissioner Rene Gonzalez is calling the arson at a future North Portland homeless shelter “domestic terrorism.”

According to the Portland Police Bureau, the Jan. 7 fire at the Bureau of Environmental Services location seriously damaged city heavy equipment clearing the site ahead of it becoming the newest large-scale sanctioned camp site. An anonymous post on a far-left website claimed responsibility.
