PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Firefighters responded to a fire at a Vancouver cemetery Thursday night.
Officials said at about 8:45 p.m., crews responded to Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel after getting reports the crematorium was on fire.
When crews went into the building, officials said they noticed the roof was about to collapse. Fire crews were told to get out, but they were still able to gain control of the fire.
Officials say there were no injuries. The fire is under investigation.
