PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A pedestrian was hit and killed in the Bridlemile Neighborhood in southwest Portland on Saturday evening, according to the Portland Police Bureau. At about 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Highway 10 and Southwest 56th Avenue. Police said they found a man dead at the scene who had been on foot. The driver had also waited for police at the scene.
