PORTLAND, Ore. – A teen was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 84 Monday night, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said. Around 9:31 p.m., 911 dispatchers received a call from the teen driver who reported he was changing a tire on the shoulder of I-84 when he was hit. The driver of the passing vehicle took off, according to the sheriff’s office. The dispatcher was able to locate the teen on the westbound shoulder near the Corbett Exit.
