PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Authorities say a power line that fell onto a sedan near Northeast 64th Avenue and Halsey Street left one woman hospitalized Wednesday morning.
Portland Fire and Rescue crews are on scene after the woman’s car crashed into the pole and leaving her exposed to a power line.

Details of the incident, including the woman’s injuries, have yet to be shared with the public. However, fire officials shared a reminder to “stay away from all potentially downed live electrical wires.”
Earlier this month, two adults and one teen were killed when a branch fell onto a live wire, which then fell onto a Ford Expedition in the Russel Neighborhood. When they tried to get out of the car, witnesses say one person was on fire and the group was electrocuted.
