PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – Two dogs and four puppies were rescued after they were dumped on the side of the road at Interstate 5 and Marine Drive.
Portland police rescued the dogs after receiving a call from someone just before noon on Thursday. However, the person who left them there was nowhere to be found.

The animals are staying with Multnomah County Animal Services while the agency investigates.
