A FAMILY has been forced out of their home after the Homeowners Association did not accommodate their disabled daughter and violated fair housing laws.
Gary and Renee Kuhn bought a trailer home in 2010 that they had parked in the driveway of their home in Keizer, Oregon.
The motor home was for their 35-year-old daughter, Khrizma who lived with them full time.
Khrizma has Down syndrome and autism, uses a wheelchair when outside of the home and suffers from severe bowel incontinence, according to Statesman Journal.
In March 2015, her parents bought a motor home so Khrizma could be near a restroom at all times while traveling.
The Kuhns had asked the McNary Estates Homeowner’s Association for an exception to a rule which prevented parking a motor home in their driveway, according to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court.
