Chamber prepares musical line-up, food and fun for Sandy Music, Fair and Feast

Sandy Mountain Festival is almost here, and that also means it’s nearing time for the Sandy Area Chamber’s annual Sandy Music, Fair and Feast event.

Long regarded as the beer gardens of the festival by visitors, the event is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year that helps them provide events and resources for the business community and also support local charitable efforts, such as adopting families around the winter holidays.

This year’s event will kick off with family night following the Sandy Mountain Festival parade on Thursday, July 11. The parade is at 7 p.m. but doors open to the chamber event at 5 p.m. Family night is until 8 p.m. then 8-11:30 p.m. is for those 21 and older only.

Friday, July 12, the doors open with live music again at 5 p.m. that runs through 12:30 a.m.

Saturday, July 13, doors open at noon for family day activities with community Bingo provided by local volunteer Shay Shay at 2 p.m. and music from 3 p.m. to midnight, and featuring multiple local bands.
