PORTLAND, Ore. – The 142nd Wing will conduct Independence Day flyovers for various parades and ceremonies around Oregon and Southwest Washington. After launching from Portland Air National Guard Base, the F-15fighter jets will make their way across large swaths of the PNW, making passes 1,000 feet above the ground at 400 mph for 4th of July events.
