Man arrested for swinging knife at people in SW Portland

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A 74-year-old man was arrested in Portland Wednesday morning for threatening several people with a knife and fighting with a probation officer. Around 10 a.m., Portland Police Bureau (PPB) officers were called out to southwest Harvey Milk and 6th Street because a man was threatening people with a knife. When the officer arrived, the man, identified as Reggie D. Leinweber, had been arrested by a Parole and Probation officer.
