PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – It was a scorching hot Saturday, as promised. Our official high temperature at the Portland International Airport was 99 degrees. Troutdale and Hillsboro also hit 99, and a few (unofficial) sensors around the metro area did get to 100. Areas east of the mountains and in the Gorge also got into the triple digits.
