PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – It’s not just academic schedules that have been impacted by this heat wave, student athletics are also seeing heat delays and cancelations. The Oregon School Activities Association say they are working with schools trying to keep the games going while ensuring the student athletes stay safe. With the key to student safety being hydration, and keeping kids out of the sun as much as possible.
