As I review The Oregonian/OregonLive’s expose outlining the upcoming ranked-choice voting circus, it brings to mind the state’s many disasters with computers, (“How will Portland City Council’s first-in-the-nation voting system work?” Sept. 3). Faulty DMV system upgrades, the 2013 CareOregon Obamacare marketplace implosions, the Oregon Employment Department’s unemployment claims debacle, etc. Can we assume Multnomah County’s data center will perform any better? Just wait until a candidate asks for a recount. Popcorn anyone?
