PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – The Pacific Northwest is an apple-lover’s paradise, with rows and rows of orchards covering Washington and Oregon that are ripe for the picking.
But some apple picking areas stand out among the rest, according to a recent list from Yelp that ranked orchards by their ratings and reviews.

5. The Gorge White House

Established in 2007, The Gorge White House in Hood River features a “historic home on a century old working farm,” according to their business Yelp bio. The orchard is situated on 30+ acres of land and offers U-pick fruit and flowers along with a food cart and hard cider and craft wine bar.
4. Beilke Family Farm

Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday)
Nestled in Brooks, Ore. is the Beilke Family Farm featuring apples, pumpkins, and tomatoes. Visitors can pick up a bucket to fill with fruit straight from the orchard every day of the week.
