PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A person was found dead after a hit-and-run crash in Northeast Portland’s Hazelwood Neighborhood Friday night, authorities said.
At 10:04 p.m., Portland police responded to reports of a crash near East Burnside Street and Northeast 113th Avenue. Officers found one person dead at the scene, with the suspect vehicle or vehicles nowhere to be found.

The investigation closed East Burnside Street in both directions between Northeast 109th Avenue and Southeast Pine Court on Friday night.
