PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A unique sound is coming to the Oregon Symphony.
This weekend is your first chance to hear the West Coast premiere of a new piece from their composer in residence and steel pannist, Andy Akiho.
Akiho joined AM Extra to talk about the upcoming show and give a special preview performance.
The first show is Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. with performances also on Oct. 6 and 7.
