Albany classes canceled as teacher strike looms
“It’s been wild. It’s been wet. The weather just changed real quickly from really hot to wet,” said Portland resident Kellen Krebs. “I’m in a taller truck, so I’m just like ‘take it slow’ and see how it goes.”
Alonzo Hardin, the co-owner at Braidia Auto Sales’ says the leaves are a nuisance every year.
“It filled up fast. We had a couple of cars out here and we knew it was coming so we had to come outside and get them out of the way,” he said.
Hardin says the Portland Bureau of Transportation knows about this problem area.
“They come and they vacuum out all the leaves and we do what we can to try and help the situation,” he said.
