Police identify cyclist killed in Northeast Portland hit-run near elementary school

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – Authorities have identified a cyclist who was killed in an early morning hit-and-run near a Northeast Portland elementary school in late October.

On Thursday, the Portland Police Bureau identified the cyclist as 38-year-old Sergio Hunt.

The hit-and-run happened early Oct. 21, with officers responding to the reported crash just after 2:30 a.m. near Northeast 128th Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street by Menlo Park Elementary.

Officers said Hunt died at the scene.

Anyone with information on the hit-and-run is asked to contact the Portland Police Bureau.
