Authorities said the employee then jumped off the truck as it was leaving the parking lot.

Around 12:15 p.m., Elephants employees tracked the stolen truck by air tag to a parking lot in Beaverton near Southwest Walker Road and Cedar Hills Boulevard and called police.

When officers responded to the scene, they found the suspect still inside the truck. After being stopped, officials say suspect rammed into one of the police cars and fled the area in the stolen truck.
