PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A 39-year-old man was found guilty of a murder that took place in the Xpose nightclub in 2017, according to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.
Jimmy Travon Pierce is guilty of second-degree murder with a firearm and first-degree attempted murder with a firearm following the incident that involved two victims and left one dead.

On May 19, 2017, officers responded to the nightclub in Beaverton following reports of a shooting and found a man, Ramon Harris, suffering “gunshot wounds to the head and chest.” Harris was rushed to the hospital, but eventually died of his injuries.
Another man, Robert Nelson, was contacted after the shooting and told police he had to “dive behind parked vehicles to avoid being shot.” A Chrysler 300 and limo bus at the scene were both damaged from bullets, and eight spent shell casings were recorded nearby.
“Investigators reviewed surveillance footage taken from inside Xpose and saw that Mr. Pierce was inside the club with his gang associates when the victims entered the club with a group of friends,” the District Attorney’s Office said. “Both groups of men had ties to various Portland criminal gangs and began arguing with each other.”
