Lake Oswego art gallery to shut its doors, offer closing sale

The Perfect Piece Gallery & Gifts shop at 1179 McVey Avenue in Lake Oswego announced that it would close this month after three years in the community.

The gallery, which sold art, home décor and gifts, cited the national trend of galleries closing and art sales declining.

“It’s truly heartbreaking to say goodbye to the gallery,” owner Tina Hospers said in a press release. “The artists we’ve worked with have poured their hearts into their creations, and it’s been a privilege to share their work with our customers. I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.”

Before shutting its doors for good, the gallery is offering a sale where items will be discounted from 25-50% from Jan. 4-15.

The press release stated that the sale would offer “a chance to purchase one-of-a-kind art pieces and gifts while directly supporting hardworking local and national artists.”
