The mild/warm winter of 2024-’25 continues. Today we hit 55° in Portland, just 3 degrees shy of a daily record. But it sure has been gray. In fact it has been ONE MONTH since we’ve seen a mainly sunny day (December 5th), but we have one coming up tomorrow. A mainly (or all) sunny day in January is rare, but just a light easterly breeze and highs in the mid-50s? That’s quite the bonus day…enjoy! This mild weather continues for at least 10 more days, through at least the 15th, but there are hints that a weather pattern change could be ahead. By the way, December did end up being our 3rd warmest on record, and the warm weather has continued this month. We’ve had a few days (including today) in which the LOW temperature doesn’t even make it down to the typical HIGH temperature!
