Body found near St. Johns Bridge identified as 52-year-old Portland man

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Authorities have identified the body of a man recovered in the Willamette River on April 18.

The victim was spotted just to the north of the St. Johns Bridge Friday afternoon, near Terminal 4 at the Port of Portland, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

A crew with the MCSO River Patrol recovered the body. The Medical Examiner later identified the victim as 52-year-old Brandon G. Williams of Portland. A cause of death has not yet been released…
