PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A convicted murderer was sentenced to the maximum of 17.5 years in prison Friday for killing one person with his car, then attempting to hit another at a Southeast Portland shopping center three years ago.
According to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, 40-year-old Frederick Moore hit and killed a pedestrian while he was driving out of the Eastport Plaza shopping center on Southeast 82nd Avenue on June 6, 2022.

He then tried to run over another man, Todd Henderson, who had witnessed the incident.
