Serial burglar cuts holes in Portland businesses’ walls

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A man accused of breaking into several Portland businesses has been arrested and charged with more than 15 counts, including burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. Police said he broke into some properties by sawing holes in the walls of neighboring businesses.

According to Portland Police, the burglaries began in November and Capitol Nails was one of those businesses targeted by suspected burglar 32-year-old Tyler William Long.

“We were definitely shocked. It was a little bit comical because it does feel like a Criminal Minds episode a little bit, like who comes up with that idea, but we all, I mean, it’s off-putting seeing someone can just cut into your business, so we were all a little bit nervous seeing it,” said Kemmer Peeples…
