Grand jury indicts another suspect in Portland-area burglary ring that hit more than 100 businesses

PORTLAND, Ore. — A Multnomah County grand jury indicted another suspect for a string of Portland metro burglaries that had been occurring since last July and hit more than 100 businesses.

On April 24, 43-year-old Jeremiah Allen Morgan was indicted on multiple charges on 15 counts, including burglary, theft and criminal mischief, according to court records. These incidents took place between February and March of this year.

According to a probable cause affidavit, filed by Deputy District Attorney Alexander Garcia, police began to investigate multiple burglaries that had been occurring since July 2024 by an organized crime ring, “comprising of 10 or more people,” that targeted more than 100 restaurants, bars, lounges and other commercial spaces…
