PORTLAND, Ore. — At the request of Commissioner Shannon Singleton, the Multnomah County board spent its Tuesday meeting putting a spotlight on street outreach — particularly in terms of where taxpayer dollars are going and where there could be better accountability.
“This work session was requested so that we can really understand our outreach services — whether it’s navigation, in-reach, and you’ll learn that these are all different — across both city investments and county investments,” Singleton said. “Again, in light of both jurisdictions being in a scenario of budget reductions.”
