Vancouver man arrested after standing on homeowners porch with hatchet on methamphetamine

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — A man was arrested after a series of incidents involving criminal trespass, stalking, and possession of a controlled substance, according to law enforcement documents.

Aaron Clay Ladner, 36, was arrested on May 3 after officers were initially dispatched to a welfare check at 507 NE 144th Ave, where they found a man in good health. During the visit, the resident reported that his granddaughter believed her son, Ladner, had maliciously damaged her car.
