From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at The Rockwood Center, 17805 S.E. Stark St., there will be a cadre of handy volunteers who will be repairing small appliances, jewelry, clothing and fabric items, darning socks with felt, and sharpening manual garden tools.
Elsewhere there will be a free clothing swap, themed after “Summer Outfits.” There is no need to bring something to take something, but if you do ensure the clothes are clean. Bring your own bag to “shop” for free, new-to-you garments…
