PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The man hit by a driver who police said left the scene Thursday morning said the driver sped up as he was crossing the street and ran into him.
Ed Anderson said he was out for his usual morning walk near Northwest Flanders Street and Broadway when it happened.
Now, he is in a hospital bed with a broken leg, waiting for surgery and possibly a hip replacement…
