PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man faces charges of animal cruelty after Clark County Animal Protection and Control seized 26 goats, five sheep, and 14 chickens living on his property.
Mohammad Aluauddin is currently facing 45 counts of first-degree animal cruelty. In a recent court appearance, a judge ordered that he is no longer allowed to possess, own, or care for any animals.

The judge also ordered that his property be checked periodically for any new animals until his next court appearance, which is set for May 21, 2025.
In May 2023, officials started getting complaints that “several goats appeared malnourished and were living in poor conditions.”
“Over time, conditions worsened, and the number of animals increased,” Clark County officials said. “A break in the case came when a neighbor reported one of the goats escaped off the property which provided sufficient evidence to obtain a search warrant.”…
