DUI suspect stabbed to death by Clark County deputy ID’d

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Clark County Medical Examiner confirmed the cause of death and identified the man killed by a deputy at a weigh station near Ridgefield.

On May 7, 54-year-old Marc Fogle was involved in a suspected DUI crash in Vancouver in Clark County and was taken by deputies to a weigh station off of Interstate 5 for a breathalyzer test, authorities said.

At the weigh station, a deputy reported that Fogle, who lived in Clackamas, Oregon, tried to grab their gun and during the altercation, the deputy stabbed Fogle to death, investigators said.

According to the Medical Examiner’s office, they confirmed that the cause of death was multiple stab wounds to the torso, and the manner of death was homicide…
