Following a fatal shooting in Gresham, officials are on the lookout for three suspects. The incident, which occurred on the 4700 block of SW 11th Street shortly after 1:30 am on April 27, tragically ended the life of 13-year-old Liam Spahnle-Bailey and left another person injured. According to statements from the Gresham Police Department, the shooting sent multiple bullets through the walls into a neighboring apartment, where Spahnle-Bailey was struck.
The investigation, led by Gresham detectives and assisted by the East County Major Crimes Team, has identified Anthony C. Hunter Jr., Xavier Hirsch, and Terrell Coy as the individuals allegedly responsible for the death of Spahnle-Bailey. “Since the shooting, our officers, detectives and law enforcement partners have worked tirelessly to identify the individuals responsible for Liam’s death. We now need the community’s help to find them and bring them to justice,” Gresham Police Chief Travis Gullberg told the Gresham Police’s official news outlet.
All three suspects are wanted for Murder in the Second Degree among additional crimes. The police described them as armed and dangerous and advised the public not to approach them, but to call 911 if they are seen. Liam, a student at Rowe Middle School, had been looking forward to a snowboarding trip with his father on the day he was killed.
