PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Two teenagers were arrested Tuesday afternoon following a drive-by shooting near Roosevelt Elementary School, according to police.
Officers responded to the area near the Jim Parsley Center around 2:10 p.m. and learned that one of the teens in the parking lot had gone inside the school while hiding a handgun wrapped in a sweatshirt.

The school was placed in a brief “secure mode” during the police investigation.
“Video surveillance revealed that the juvenile handed the sweatshirt/handgun off to another juvenile, who attempted to conceal it inside the school,” police said. “The sweatshirt was located inside the school by police and was found to contain a stolen handgun.”…
