OREGON CITY, Ore. (KATU) — A retired K9 with the Oregon City Police Department, Mac, has died, the department said on Wednesday.
K9 Mac joined the department in 2014 and worked with OCPD Officer Bill Horton. He is credited with countless captures for the department before his retirement in July of 2020.
