PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A grieving father clung a small stuffed fish as he spoke with us in the backyard of his North Portland home. “Funny Fish,” as 18-year-old Mico O’Brien once called it, was his co-star in countless stories he wrote about their adventures as a child.
On Memorial Day, Mico and his Roosevelt High School friends Jack Craig and Will Rinehart went for a hike in Washington. While on the drive home on State Route 14, Mico was killed in a wrong-way crash.
Washington State Patrol says Erik M. Moya, suspected of driving under the influence, drove the wrong direction in a westbound lane on SR-14 for an estimated 14 minutes. He eventually collided with the teens’ car…
