A Multnomah County grand jury last week indicted a Portland man accused of robbery, carjacking and fleeing police across state lines.
Jeffrey Boone, 43, was charged May 20 with seven counts of first-degree robbery, four counts of burglary, seven counts of unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of unlawful use of a vehicle. He also faces charges of assault, criminal mischief and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
The indictment alleges Boone, while armed, attempted to rob seven people, burglarize two homes and steal two cars. Police said the numerous crimes, all in Portland, took place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Feb. 16…
