One of the oldest and cheapest thrift stores in Portland, tucked away in a church basement in the Woodstock neighborhood, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a new look.
After a monthlong closure, the Mustard Seed Thrift Shop & Book Nook hosted a grand reopening and 50th anniversary celebration May 28, where the store’s fresh paint job, new flooring and rearranged floor plan were unveiled.
