Multnomah County renews efforts in Kyron Horman case with digital overhaul and FBI support

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is speaking out on the 15th anniversary of the disappearance of Kyron Horman, who went missing from an elementary school in Northwest Portland at seven years old.

“Over the past year, our dedicated investigators have been working tirelessly to modernize and review the case,” the office said in a press release on Wednesday morning. “We’ve teamed up with Gresham Police detectives to digitize and reorganize thousands of pages of reports, photos, and evidence. It’s a massive undertaking that started last year. We hope to complete it soon.”
