PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – As the Portland area is under a heat advisory this weekend, authorities are directing people to public libraries and community centers if they need a place to cool off.
At a news conference on Sunday, Portland Mayor Keith Wilson said that while cooling shelters are not being opened this weekend, libraries will be open.
