PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities are searching for a person of interest who may have information on a 3-alarm fire that broke out at a Northeast Portland home Sunday evening.
Shortly after 6 p.m., a passerby reported the fire, which sparked at a vacant home near North Vancouver and Alberta Street in the Humboldt Neighborhood, according to Portland Fire & Rescue.

Later, a third alarm was called as crews battled the blaze for hours as temperatures hit 90 degrees, requiring fire crews to switch out more often to prevent heat exhaustion.
