PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A crash in East Portland has left one person dead and another injured, with the police investigation shutting down a section of road Saturday evening, authorities said.
Portland police said they responded to the head-on collision just before 5 p.m. near Southeast Division Street and Southeast 119th Avenue.

“When officers arrived, they located one of the vehicles involved in the crash and determined that an occupant was deceased,” the Portland Police Bureau said in a press release. “Another person involved in the crash was transported to an area hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.”
