A Washington County judge on Friday sentenced a Hillsboro man to 2 years in prison for forcing a 26-year-old man with developmental disabilities into involuntary servitude.
Judge Brandon Thompson handed down the sentence to Jack Patrick Hauser, 47, after Hauser pleaded guilty to human trafficking and failing to register as a sex offender, court records show.
The Hillsboro Police Department arrested Hauser on Aug. 27, 2024, after community members reported that Hauser had made the man sell snacks outside of the Hillsboro Esplanade shopping center since 2023, police said…
